Did You Know Grand Rapids Almost Had a Pizza Park?
We've seen a ton of upgrades to Grand Rapids Parks in recent years.
From climbing walls, to hammock groves, to outdoor fitness centers - a voter approved millage has really improved local parks.
There's one proposed park plan from back in the day we really wish would have happened though...
Grand Rapids Almost Had a Pizza Park

Mitten Pizza replied,
We'll see you for lunch.
Shawmut Hills Schools commented,

So if Pizza Park didn't happen, what IS in this spot in Grand Rapids?
Close to the Grand River, the plot is kind of in-between two parks - Canal Park and Belknap Park.
Here's a look around:
Well, it might not be Pizza Park - but we do have some cool park upgrades in GR to look forward too, including the makeover of Lyon Square.
