Get Ready for This Weekend’s GRD Pond Hockey Classic with Video from Last Year

Last year's GRD Pond Hockey Classic was my first ever experience with Pond Hockey, since I come from Texas, and we don't exactly have enough cold weather to free over our bathtubs, let alone a whole pond!

I'm really excited for this year's Pond Hockey Classic, kicking off tonight at 5:45 at Richmond Hills Park. We have 4 rounds of hockey throughout the weekend, one tonight, two tomorrow, and the fourth on Sunday.

Then, after that's all done, we have the Championship games and the awards presentation!

Here's the schedule of games:

Friday - 5:45pm - Opening Ceremonies and Round One

Saturday - 10am - Round Two

Saturday - 4pm - Round Three

Sunday - 10am - Round Four

Sunday - 3pm - Championship Games and Awards Ceremony

Also, at 2pm on Sunday, there will be the Winter West Festival Crazy Cardboard Sled Derby!

Lots to do, so come have a beer or soda with us, some wood fired pizza, and watch some great Pond Hockey!
