If you're anything like me, you're at the bars until they all close at 2 am. You've probably had a few drinks, and you're craving some food to get in your gut, and there is nothing better than a big, greasy slice of pizza. I don't want to wait to make food at home, nor do I have the energy to.

But I do know plenty of spots where I can get a couple of cheap slices of pizza. Whether you have a go-to spot or you're looking for a new place close to you, these shops sell pizza-by-the-slice in the middle of the night.

For this list, we'll move from the West side of Grand Rapids to the East side.

A blink-and-you'll-miss-it spot, Big O's and Booze has been in Downtown GR since 2006 and remains a great place if you're looking for a slice in a cozy, less-crowded atmosphere. An important note: Big O's only does cheese and pepperoni by the slice. Honestly, at 2 in the morning, those are the toppings you need anyways.

Cottage Inn - 15 Ionia Ave SW #140, Grand Rapids, MI 49503

One of the newest additions to Downtown Grand Rapids, Cottage Inn is well-known around West Michigan, but only in the last few months has opened a store in the heart of Grand Rapids, next to Hop Cat. This Cottage Inn is truly unique among the other locations in that it stays open much later and is the only location to offer pizza by the slice.
