New Late-Night Pizza Joint Now Open Downtown Grand Rapids
Downtown Grand Rapids just got a new spot for late-night eats—pizza lovers, get pumped!

Last January, we told you that Cottage Inn Pizza was plotting a new location downtown Grand Rapids... well, it's officially open! The new restaurant at 15 Ionia Ave. SW #140 is now serving its signature pies, calzones, and wings in the heart of Grand Rapids.
Cottage Inn Pizza: A Michigan Staple Since 1948
The Michigan-based chain first got its start in Ann Arbor back in 1948, becoming the city’s first restaurant to serve pizza. What began as a small, college-town favorite has grown into a regional staple, with more than 50 Cottage Inn Pizza locations across Michigan and Ohio.

New Cottage In Pizza Downtown Grand Rapids
The new downtown shop takes over the former Daisies Place brunch spot, which quietly closed last year. Inside, guests can grab pizza by the slice or by the pie. Crust options include deep dish, gluten-free, cauliflower, thin, or round. Create your own, or choose from Cottage Inn's gourmet pizzas, which include:
- Hot Honey Chicken
- BLT
- Chicken Alfredo
- Motor City Meatball
- Philly Steak Supreme
- Multiple vegetarian options.
Subs, breadsticks, wings, calzones, salads, and desserts round out the menu.
Open Late for Night Owls and Bar Crowds
Fans of late-night grub will be happy to know the new location is open until 1 a.m. Sunday through Thursday, and 3 a.m. Friday and Saturday. This makes it one of the few places downtown still serving food after the bars close.
