The Intersection

A few months back, these guys made a stop by Berlin Raceway & Entertainment Complex and rocked the place! Now, Jesse James Dupree and the guys are making their way back to The Intersection and are giving you one hell of a show for one hell of a deal!

Bring the metal! One of the biggest 'hardcore' bands is making their way back to The Intersection this coming January! Hatebreed!

Losing the great scumdog of Oderus Urungus will not slow down the killing machine that is GWAR. Recently, they played their usual GWAR-B-Q and sent Oderus via a Viking Funeral. However, it's back to business for the earth dominators as they will make their way to The Intersection in Grand Rapids on Nov. 23!

Lately on WGRD, we have been playing a single from a band named Nothing More. The track being named "This is the TIme (Ballast)." The track rocks so much, that they should come to Grand Rapids right? Here is your chance!

Pop Evil brings back the rock in an intimate All Acoustic Night at The Stache inside The Intersection!

A couple weeks ago, Pop Evil, Young Guns, Girl on Fire, Era 9, and Deadwood Stone took over the Intersection. The place was packed to the brim with crazed fans as Pop Evil played some the top songs in rock radio today! Pop Evil was back in their hometown, and we welcomed them with open arms.

Here at WGRD, we are all about the local bands. Pop Evil was a local band that paid its dues and worked hard. The band now is proud to say it has had two No. 1 singles on the Active Rock charts this year. Keeping the tradition of loving our local bands, local rockers Deadwood Stone have been booked to open the show Friday at The Intersection in Grand Rapids.

There are a ton of metal bands out there, and many of them can be defined by the first 2 frets on their guitar. Band like this barely come around, and this band has quite the following...Progressive metal band Between the Buried and Me is stopping by The Intersection on March 4th!

Hometown boys Wayland came to town a couple weeks ago and brought it to The Intersection! If you were there, you saw some awesome stuff go down. If you weren't, well, here is a gallery of pics from the show!

Man, do I love a good Mushroomhead show! I have seen them 10+ times, and each time gets better and better. It is really hard to believe that Mushroomhead has been on the scene for 20 years! They will be celebrating the 20 year existence with a huge tour, and one very big special suprise for all of the 'Shroomheads out there...

Man it's not often we have so many killer shows just back to back! This past Friday I drove down to Allegan and rocked out for the Carnival of Madness, which had In This Moment, Papa Roach and Shinedown. AMAZING show! I can honestly say I thought these three bands put on some of the best live shows I have seen in a while!

I had way too much fun at the Wayland/Jackyl show this past Friday at The Intersection. WAY too much fun. In retrospect I probably should have taken things a bit easier. Either way, Wayland put on a kick ass show as did Jackyl. Of course being the "selfie queen" I woke up to a plethora of pictures on my phone.
