Pop Evil brings back the rock in an intimate All Acoustic Night at The Stache inside The Intersection!

Leigh shared this video today and I thought I would share it with you. Pop Evil is on tour right now, and tonight they play at The House Of Blues in Dallas. The guys got to play an acoustic song, "Torn to Pieces," this morning on WFAA, an ABC affiliate station in Dallas.

We had a great time hanging on the bus with the band, and they even convinced Ned it was a good idea to drink like 10 shots in 10 minutes... it wasn't a good idea.

A couple weeks ago, Pop Evil, Young Guns, Girl on Fire, Era 9, and Deadwood Stone took over the Intersection. The place was packed to the brim with crazed fans as Pop Evil played some the top songs in rock radio today! Pop Evil was back in their hometown, and we welcomed them with open arms.

Here at WGRD, we are all about the local bands. Pop Evil was a local band that paid its dues and worked hard. The band now is proud to say it has had two No. 1 singles on the Active Rock charts this year. Keeping the tradition of loving our local bands, local rockers Deadwood Stone have been booked to open the show Friday at The Intersection in Grand Rapids.

Grand Rapids' Pop Evil has managed to claim the top spot on the Active Rock chart for the second time this year with its single "Deal With the Devil." That follows Pop Evil's other 2013 chart-topper "Trenches."

I like tonight's match... it's a good one, Pop Evil who got their start on GRD from right here in Grand Rapids, taking on some other Grand Rapids rockers... Wayland! Jackie and I recently traveled to Columbus, Ohio for Rock On The Range.  In the media tent, we were visited by members of several bands performing at the festival.

Shaffee and I got to do so many interviews this past weekend in Columbus, Ohio at Rock On The Range. One of our favorites was of our own home town boys, Pop Evil! Check out the video, we will have more video interviews coming up!
