If you saw my previous post about me running a 5k, you will know that I am no runner. However, I decided to give it a shot. It seems like everyone is doing runs these days and there is a 5k for everything. My wife's workplace at KDL had a fun-run this past weekend, and for some crazy reason, I decided to join her on the run.

Don't forget! Carnival of Chaos returns this year to Moreland's Motorcross Park in Stanton, MI on June 12-14. Over 80 local bands, and even being headlined by Wayne Static of Static-X! 3 Days of Metal and more!

I am not really a runner, nor am I a fitness junkie. Jackie and Eric Zane are the runners at this station, so when I look at them, it can be pretty intimidating. They run 25k's, which is just crazy, but inspirational. They are also quite fit. Me on the other hand, not very fit and have a significant amount of weight, also not that much motivation. Being a huge Pantera fan, I felt as though I better toss in my 2 cents on the issue. I know, it's really early to even thing about Halloween. It is my favorite holiday though! Dressing up in something awesome and going to countless parties. I will say though, I miss 'Trick or Treating.' Instead of a hangover, you had over 5 pounds of FREE CANDY! One year though, my Halloween costume topped many lists.

I have been wanting a new computer for quite some time. My wife and I don't really have computers that run the best. They also have Windows XP loaded, which dropped support a couple months ago meaning anyone can hack my account info. I have been wanting to dive into the world of Mac, and now, I finally took the plunge.

I finally was given the chance to check out the downtown Grand Rapids location of Bagger Dave's! I will tell you, I love a damn good burger, and Grand Rapids sure offers a lot of different choices of burgers. One of my favorites? Bagger Dave's!

When I was a kid, I had a tendency to listen to the 'pop' edge of music. I loved the 'Now' series and I still have 'Now 1.' One day though, my brother and his friends were listening to these new bands, one of them was Korn and the other, Rob Zombie. Little did I know, a little over 10 years later, I would be chatting with the man himself!

I'm pretty excited for tonight as Mushroomhead returns to The Intersection! It's always a good time, and I have seen these guys more times that I can count. Let's just say it's over 20! One of the shows I attended, we had the makeup artist from The Haunt do some awesome work for us.

I went surfing through my normal stops for records a few days ago and went through a couple of the CD's. I could use this picture for a Throwback Thursday, but I felt as though it fit the Random Pic portion better. Time to fly back a long time ago and look at some of the CD's that WGRD used to sell that featured local artist and everything!
