A bill that would make it illegal to leave your pets unattended in hot (or cold) cars in Michigan passed unanimously in a state senate committee Tuesday.

The City of Grand Rapids was considering a proposal, introduced March 7, that would limit each household to three dogs and three cats.
According to MLive, the City has dropped the proposal for now.
