For the past year or so, Hot Toys has been teasing life-size statues of its licensed figures from the Marvel, Star Wars and DC Comics universes. Though the gigantic pieces have typically been "display only" and never put up for sale, there was always a feeling Hot Toys was taking the temperature of fan interest in taking a giant Chris Evans or Hulkbuster home. Given Hot Toys' adoration of Iron Man, many speculated a life-size Tony Stark would be the first to make the leap to the consumer market. That's not the case however, and today Hot Toys surprised everyone by revealing the life-size Armored Batman as the first in this new 1:1 scale series. Now I've stuck up for the look of this suit despite my general feelings of malaise towards Dawn of Justice, and that holds true to this larger version as well. The armored batsuit is well-designed armor outfit that's hard to find fault with... to a degree. It's pretty damn accurate to the comic it's based on, and like I've said before, it maintains Batman's striking silhouette even though it's a giant metal suit. When kept at the 1:1 size ratio, which makes Batman here a hefty 6' 4", the more questionable design elements stand out a bit more. I'm talking about that cod piece.

A new benchmark for DC Comic's superhero movie trailers has been set, except that the trailer isn't for a DC superhero movie at all. The new Suicide Squad trailer is here, and it looks absolutely amazing.

I honestly thought I was out. After years of buying Lego sets and never having time to put them together, I finally thought I had broken the habit, but now? Now we know that there's a 2,500-piece set based on the Batman '66 Batcave coming out, and I don't just want to buy it, I want to make it the centerpiece of my home. Officially announced this morning --- timed, no doubt, for the 50th anniversary of the show's debut on January 12, 1966 --- the Classic TV Series Batcave set doesn't just include the Batcave. It's got the Batcave, Wayne Manor, the Batmobile, the Batcopter, Batman and Robin and their civilian alter-egos, three arch-villains and Alfred. And it might be the single greatest toy that I've ever seen. Check out the images below to get a good look, and find out about all of its features!

Last summer, Funko released the first of its Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice collectibles in an exclusive set at San Diego Comic-Con. For those of you who couldn't attend, and didn't want to pay exorbitant prices on the secondary market, we have good news--there are a bunch of new Funko Pops, Minis, Idolz, and bobbleheads coming. It's not really all that surprising. There was no way there was only going to be two Funko Pops for DC's biggest film of the year. At least now we know what to expect in the coming months... at least so far as the heroes are concerned. At this point in the Funko game, you'd actually have a harder time thinking of something the company hasn't created at least one Pop for than things it has. Batman V Superman is getting the full-court press from Funko, too, with every aspect of the company's various lines getting in on the action. You want a tiny, baby Batman driving a Batmobile? You got it. Want to chew on Aquaman while thinking about what to write in your journal? Yeah, they got you covered there, too.

Part of the fun comic book fans have had over the years is debating which superhero could defeat which superhero. Could Wolverine beat The Hulk? Could the X-Men beat The Avengers? There have been entire lines of books devoted to this very topic. Heck, Batman vs. Superman and Captain America: Civil War are both based on this very conceit. So, you can’t blame Matt Damon for getting into the fun when asked if his Jason Bourne, who he calls “my superhero”, could take his pal Ben Affleck’s Batman. As you might expect, Damon’s not stepping down from the challenge.

The movie a lot of people have been waiting for a long time is getting closer and closer! 'Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice' comes out next year, and the teasers have been coming already, along with glimpses of what we will see when the movie comes out. Now, get a better look at the costumes the comic book heroes will be wearing in the movie, including the Wonder Woman costume!

The movies are the big talk these past few weeks. With new teasers and trailers for Star Wars, Jurassic World, and the highly anticipated Batman VS Superman: Dawn of Justice. The trailer looks dark, awesome, and kinda scary. Let's lighten the mood by adding some of the original actors of the super heroes, Christopher Reeve and Adam West.

Before Tim Burton’s 1989 Batman movie, Batman was largely known for the campy Adam West/Burt Ward TV series. In fact, they wanted to make a Batman movie based on that show called Batman in Outer Space. Luckily, two movie producers bought the rights and wanted to make a darker version of Batman's story. In the mid-80s, after the success of Ghostbusters, director Ivan Reitman was attached to direct and he wanted to cast Bill Murray as Batman and Eddie Murphy as Robin. These are just some of the facts packed into the latest episode of You Think You Know Movies, which heads to Gotham with the original Batman!

Comic book fans surely remember the '90s. It was a strange time to be a superhero fan. A dark time. A time when Joel Schumacher was directing Batman movies and baffling the entire world. A decade before Christopher Nolan made 'Batman Begins,' Schumacher made 'Batman Forever,' which featured Jim Carrey as The Riddler and Tommy Lee Jones as Two-Face. No one remembers either performance fondly, but it turns out that there's some pretty interesting stories regarding their casting. It turns out that Jones did not like Carrey. Like, at all.

'The Dark Knight' is one of the most popular superhero movies ever. Heck, it might even be one of the most popular movies of any genre in the past 10 years. But, even if you think you've seen and read all there is on 'The Dark Knight,' you still might not know everything there is to know about one of the biggest movies of all-time.
