A Day To Remember

Monday night, A Day to Remember and Bring Me the Horizon hit the Deltaplex in Grand Rapids, bringing along Chiodos and Motionless in White for a big show on the Parks and Devastation tour! The second band to hit the stage was Chiodos, and they didn't slow anything down for their set, cranking up the volume, and turning up the energy!

Not only was it an awesome show last night, but these lucky winners were given the opportunity to meet the bands Bring Me The Horizon and A Day To Remember on Monday night at The DeltaPlex in Grand Rapids! They signed stuff, the 97.9 WGRD winners got the new album and were all treated to an awesome night!

A sold out Grand Rapids crowd spent their Easter Sunday (March 31) with Florida metalcore/punk rockers A Day To Remember at The Orbit Room. Frontman Jeremy McKinnon sat down with us before the show to discuss the band's new album, pleasing both hardcore and pop-punk fans, their status with Victory Records and more.

While A Day to Remember may have broken through at radio and delivered something a little more catchy with 'All I Want' from their last album, the band still knows how to rock and they show it with the release of the new song, 'Violence (Enough Is Enough).' The blistering cut finds frontman Jeremy McKinnon returning to full scream while the rest of the band provide a furious backing to the song. Hard core moshing music (complete with cookie monster vocals) combined  with video gaming that punishes "haters" (inc; pretentious music critics) has got to be my all time fav theme when it comes to band videos now.  It takes a while to get thru the bad acting but the vid is definitely worth the wait as each band hater "gets his" I think 2nd Sucks rocks, but what do you think..

Victory Records is facing one of the worst nightmares that could happen to a record label: having your biggest band take you to court. It's been confirmed that A Day To Remember have filed a lawsuit against Victory Records, alleging breach of contract.
