Super Mario 64 is one of the best games ever made, at least in my opinion that is.

It has stellar platforming, fun game play, and changed how 3-D games would be made from that point forward. It was also the first Nintendo 64 video game that I ever owned.

Over the years, the graphics have not aged well and there is always a possibility of an HD remake right?

It truly does seem like every old game out there is receiving some sort of HD remake. So why not the game that made 3-D games playable?

Super Mario 64.

A computer science student named Erik Roystan took the old Super Mario 64 formula and make it fully HD.

The game looks great! It looks like you could play this on your WiiU. There has yet to be a definitive HD Mario game on WiiU, and I think this would be a great place to start. Nintendo kind of already remade Super Mario 64 on Nintendo DS, but it wasn't an incredibly faithful port of the game.

If you have the right software, you can download a playable version right here.

If you don't feel like playing it, watch the video below!
