Ozzy Osbourne has revealed that the original members of Black Sabbath are discussing a possible reunion.  And not just a tour to make money, as a new album might be in the works too.

The Prince of Darkness was being interviewed by ABC Radio News and discussed working with Tony Iommi, Geezer Butler and Bill Ward.  Osbourne stressed that they are only in the talking phases and feel it would be a waste of time if they can't live up to their past success.

“The problem that we have is that if we do an album and it’s anything less than where we left off, it’s gonna be a big anticlimax.”

Also take in the fact that Ozzy has been touring forever in support of his latest album Scream.  Even if this does happen, don't expect any bombshells in the near future.  Osbourne was fired from Black Sabbath in 1979 due to internal tensions with the band and was replaced by the late Ronnie James Dio.

Would you be excited if the original Black Sabbath lineup got back together again, or should they leave their legacy be?
