So, Kanye West is still a douche. Shocking, I know.

You can see it kind of looked like he was joking when he headed toward the stage to interrupt Beck getting the 2015 Grammy Award for Album of the Year last night.

But how about this-- stop interrupting other people's awards speeches? "Jokingly" or not, it's disrespectful.

Turns out, it wasn't a joke.

Much like the time he yanked the mic from Taylor Swift at the 2009 VMAs to declare that Beyonce is the best thing ever and should have won, West talked to E! News last night to reveal that the same thing should have happened at the Grammys.

"If the Grammys … want real artists to keep coming back, they need to stop playing with us. We ain't gonna play with them no more," Kanye declared last night. (Watch the video above.)

"Beck needs to respect artistry and he should have given his award to Beyonce."

He continued, "When you keep on diminishing art and not respecting the craft and smacking people in the face after they deliver monumental feats of music you're disrespectful to inspiration...

… I'm not gonna do nothing that would put my daughter at risk, but I am going to fight for creativity. That's the reason why I didn't say anything tonight," he revealed. "But y'all know what it meant when Ye walked on that stage."

Stop referring to yourself as "Ye". Stop referring to yourself in third person at all. And also, suck it Kanye.

We get it, you love Beyonce. Other people can win things too. It's fine.

As for Beck's reaction to Kanye's comments, he pretty much comes off looking like the best person ever-- humble, intelligent, forgiving.

"I was just so excited he was coming up. He deserves to be on stage as much as anybody," Beck told Us Weekly "How many great records has he put out in the last five years, right?"

"I thought she was going to win. Come on, she's Beyonce," he continued. And to top it all off, he has no hard feelings against Kanye for pulling the stunt.

"You can't please everybody, man," he said. "I still love him and think he's genius. I aspire to do what he does."

Wow. That's classy of you, Beck.

So pretty much the opposite of Kanye then.
