GRD debuted Ghost's new song "Cirice" on the Liquid Lunch today!

We wanted to know what GRD listeners think of the Swedish metal band's latest single. Check out their reactions and listen to the song and let us know your opinion of "Cirice"!

"Cirice" will be on Ghost's (formerly Ghost B.C.) upcoming album Meliora, out August 21 and is available for pre-order now via Amazon or iTunes.

It's the band's third album, and first with new vocalist Papa Emeritus III, said to be the "three-month-younger brother" of Ghost's previous frontman, Papa Emeritus II.

One of Ghost's nameless ghouls (all the band members keep their identities secret) talked about the new album with the Metal Hammer Magazine Show  [via Blabbermouth]. About the title, Melioria, he remarked,

"I think that the super-correct translation [from Latin] is 'for the pursuit of something better,' or 'all things better,' or something like that. It is actually more thematical with the lyrical content and the backdrop that we wanted to paint in front of which we're playing these songs, basically, which was supposed to be, or is supposed to be, a super-urban, metropolitan, pre-apocalyptic, dystopic futuristic thing. The title is more implying, ironically, this zenith that we think that we have reached. We're always building higher, and we're always getting a little bit faster, and everybody keeps earning a little bit more money, and everybody gets a little bit taller and a little bit tighter and a little bit… It's a constant improvement that we're hysterically trying to achieve."

Ghost are kicking off a North American tour this September, making a stop at The Majestic Theatre in Detroit October 2.
