At one upcoming event, you'll be able to take a magical stroll through an illuminated garden filled with hand-carved pumpkins.

A place that brings butterflies, artwork, music, and plants of all kinds to Grand Rapids is helping us ring in Autumn!

Glow Garden and Tuesdays at the Farm is once again returning to Frederik Meijer Gardens and Sculpture Park in 2023. On select Tuesdays evenings you can spend time in the Gwen Frostic Woodland Shade Garden and Michigan’s Farm Garden.

If you haven't visited, Michigan's Farm Garden is reminiscent of a 1930s family farm. This farmhouse is a three-quarter-scale model of Lena Rader Meijer's childhood home. Farm animals are represented by bronze sculptures throughout Michigan’s Farm Garden. Various vegetable gardens and flower beds dedicated to heirloom varieties are planted behind the farmhouse.

Named for Michigan native Gwen Frostic, the Woodland Shade Garden portrays examples of the artist's favorite subjects: indigenous plants and animals.

And during this event, both areas will be extra fall-tastic!

You'll see incredible hand-etched pumpkins by local artist Alynn Guerra.

There's also pumpkin carving demos, live music, a Balk Café pop-up and adult beverages.

You're welcome to feast your eyes on their vibrant harvest of heirloom vegetables, herbs, gourds and larger-than-life pumpkins until 9 pm.
