“F*** You Chester” Chant Breaks Out At Scott Weiland Show [VIDEO]

In February, Scott Weiland was fired from Stone Temple Pilots. The band later announced that his replacement would be Chester Bennington of Linkin Park

During a Scott Weiland solo show last Saturday night in Philadelphia, fans began chanting “Fuck you Chester.”  At that point, Weiland decided to address the issue saying among other things, “Chester has his own band that makes a lot of money.  I’m not really quite sure why he joined a band who is actually nameless.”

He then apologized to fans who are “caught in the middle of it.”

Weiland is working on a new solo album, while STP has released the song “Out Of Time” featuring Chester Bennington and has plans to release an EP this fall and embark on a US tour.
