Stone Temple Pilots recently revealed the addition of vocalist Chester Bennington of Linkin Park to replace former singer Scott Weiland, who the band fired back in February.
Stone Temple Pilots apparently fired frontman Scott Weiland earlier this year and now the band has filed a lawsuit against the singer, claiming that he plotted to sabotage their 20th anniversary tour, among other accusations.

Scott Weiland is now weighing in with his own official response to today's news that he has been fired from Stone Temple Pilots. The vocalist stated as recently as yesterday that all was still good with his longtime band, telling Rolling Stone, "STP has not broken up. I haven't quit. I haven't been fired." He even added that they were talking about when they wanted to tour again.
