Donald Trump will visit Detroit on Monday, August 8.

The Republican presidential nominee will make his first Michigan visit since getting the nomination at a Detroit Economic Club luncheon event.

Wood TV 8 reports that Trump is expected to speak around noon at the luncheon at the Detroit Marriott at the Renaissance Center.

According to the Detroit Economic Club's Facebook page, tickets will soon be available at the group's website.

Trumps stop will follow a visit from Democratic vice presidential nominee Tim Kaine in Grand Rapids this Friday.
