Slipknot's Corey Taylor has confirmed details on a new two-part album for his other band, Stone Sour. The concept record will be split up between releases for this year and next.

As NME reports, the album is called House of Gold And Bones and will drop in stores in two phases. Taylor went on his Twitter page to share the details with fans.

"The new Stone Sour album is a 2-part double concept album called House of Gold and Bones (HoGaB), parts 1 and 2," he tweeted. "Part 1 will drop in Oct '12. Part 2 will drop next year. 24 songs, 12 on each disc. Each disc will include one half of the story- for lyrics, you'll have to our site."

Taylor also has plans to branch out House of Gold And Bones into other media, specifically a series of comic books. "Once I lock in the company who will help me put it together, there will be a comic book as well," Taylor revealed. "Song titles include 'Absolute Zero,' 'RU486,' 'A Rumor Of Skin,' and 'Taciturn.' Very excited for everyone to hear it! Stay tuned!"

This has been an eventful week for Mr. Corey Taylor. Earlier this week, Slipknot announced plans to release a new compilation album entitled Antennas to Hell next month. The disc will contain hits and fan favorites throughout the band's 15-year career. Slipknot will also curate and headline their own KNOTFEST music festival in August, which features Deftones, Serj Tankian, Lamb of God and more.
