When I asked for tickets to the September 13 Clutch show at the Orbit Room, Metalhead Ned looked at me funny. I get it, my look doesn't scream "ROCK!!!". However, to my credit, I knew one Clutch song (Yes, "Spacegrass". Which honestly, I always thought was titled "Jesus on the Dashboard"...)

Mostly, I explained, my boyfriend wanted to go. "Yeah, he seems like a Clutch fan", was Ned's response. "Um," I thought, "What does that even mean? Because he has a beard?"

After seeing the show, I realize it's a pretty awesome compliment! Because Clutch fans are some of the most passionate, excited, loyal fans I've seen! (The sound isn't the best ever, but I was able to able to grab some video and thought I'd share!)

The crowd was roaring and ready as Clutch started their set with a newer song: "The Wolf Man Kindly Requests" off their 2013 album "Earth's Rider".

The band played a good mix of newer songs (even debuting a few from their upcoming album, which should be out late 2015) and older favorites like "Spacegrass".
