Last weekend, the Friends of the Musketawa Trail hosted the Gold Spike Trail Tour. The biennial event covered the entire Musketawa Trail, running from Marne to Muskegon, and connected with the Fred Meijer Pioneer Trail in Grand Rapids to the east.
Since we had all of these photos gathered, we figured we'd put them up on the website so everyone could get a look at just how cool we were back in high school.
We love driving in Michigan for two reasons: we invented the automobile, and we have the most beautiful state to drive around in.
So here are my top five picks for the best summer drives in the state.

We had some drinks with our friends at H.O.M.E. inside the B.O.B. and gave away tickets to the show!

We had a bunch of entries, lots of lovely ladies looking to get on stage with Ghost at the Orbit Room and be Sisters of Sin. We weeded out the sneaky peeps trying to slip in faked or stolen photos, and kicked off the public voting last week. And now we have our winners!
Morel season is underway and the mushroom is a big part of Michigan. So big that a Manistee Man is selling one on eBay for $10,000!!
