All of the teams in this year's Pond Hockey Classic came out and gave it their all! But only 3 teams could be declared the leaders in their divisions. We want to thank everyone that came out to watch the teams and all of the sponsors involved in making this an awesome event!

Last night we kicked off the 2013 WGRD Pond Hockey Classic. The snow was falling and the beer was flowing for the opening ceremonies. We will be out there all day today and tomorrow. You can get all the details after the jump!
UPDATE (1:20pm) : One lane of Westbound I-96 is now reopened after numerous crashes and slide-offs earlier.
WZZM 13 is reporting that WB I-96 is closed due to several slide offs and rollovers. Westbound I-96 is currently closed at Exit 23, 16th Avenue, Marne. The photos attached are of a rollover accident between 68th and 48th Ave.
With nearly 24 hours of snowfall across the region, accidents have been piling up throughout West Michigan. WZZM 13 is reporting that police are currently dealing with multiple accidents on US 31 in Muskegon County.
A multiple vehicle crash has caused Eastbound I-96 to close at 48th Avenue in Ottawa County. At this time, it is unclear as to how long it will take for emergency responders to clear the debris and reopen the freeway.
