One of the first things I saw today is another fun cover song from Leo of Frog Leap Studios. It's always a good day when he posts one of his amazing metal covers of a pop song. He takes those silly pop things and turns them into something people would actually want to listen to!

Last night, Christine from our sister station Channel 95.7 and I went to see the new movie, "The Shallows", with the beautiful Blake Lively. It's a shark movie that's a little different from the silly ones that have come out like Sharknado. And did I mention that Blake is really hot and in a bikini the whole movie?

Okay, so the new Ghostbusters theme has been released for the upcoming female-fronted movie. If you thought the trailers for the movie were bad, then this new theme might make you want to kill yourself. It is freaking TERRIBLE! Dear Christ, what the hell were they thinking? This might be way worse than the movie will ever be.

Today on Segment 16, the guys talk about the plan to build a new 42-story building in downtown GR, and whether it'll happen...and then Justin makes a bet with everyone that he will be able to cleanly dunk a regulation basketball on a regulation height rim in one year.

Today on Segment 16, the guys talk about this weekend's Electric Forest festival in Rothbury, and the history of festivals up there. Long before people were excited to see things called DJ Mustard, Caspa B2B Rusko, or Bro Safari (How do people even come up with these silly names?), people used to go check out music in Rothbury.

Insane Clown Posse are known for their insane shows, and the spraying of Faygo at them. Did you know they use at least 400-500 two-liters of Faygo at EVERY SHOW? Apparently this goes up to whopping 600 two-liters sometimes! This prompted The Loft in Lansing to request "no more Faygo" after the first of two nights at the club. The band said, "screw you", and cancelled the second

So here's how Segment 16 went down today. During the commercial break, Justin grabbed a donut from the kitchen and brought it into the studio to eat. The guys, not knowing there were donuts, stopped everything to stare at his donut, and then literally ran down the hallway to get some. This led to a funny prank on Justin to begin the segment.

Today, the guys cover a lot of ground on Segment 16 again, from Justin's work ethic, to the Lions cheerleaders, to a new downtown Meijer coming, murals, and listener emails about murder attempts. Pay attention, and try to follow THAT thread!

Lots of ground covered today on Segment 16, talking about the ridiculous cost of college, and how it's gotten so expensive so quickly, and is the real problem for students. Everyone complains about the student loans being the problem, and wanting them forgiven, but no one stops to complain about the stupid high cost of college that put these students in such debt.

Today on Segment 16, the guys had Jeff Worley in from Jackyl, to talk about tonight's Sandy Corley Memorial Run show with Wayland, Jeff's book, and funny road stories. The guys in Jackyl have been touring for a lot of years, and they have tons of funny stories to share.

Today on Segment 16, the guys are disgusted by a school's decision to ban patriotic honor cords at a high school graduation. Greenville's senior class has some graduates who are going into military service and were given red, white, and blue cords for the ceremony. Unfortunately, they were not allowed to wear them, because "the line has to be drawn somewhere".
