Last night, for the first time in a very long time, I played Resident Evil 6. I consider this game to be the low point of a once great series. It took away all of the survival horror aspect of the game and traded it for a more action based shooter, like the populate Call of Duty series.

When I purchased this game, I was the only one of my friends who did. Everyone of my friends could smell how bad the game was, but I gave it the benefit of the doubt.

I still to this day, have not entirely finished the game. I made it to Wesker's son's mission...see? I don't even remember his name! This game even inspired me to write a blog about what happened to the Resident Evil series.

The game sat of my shelf for over a year with little interest to play it. Until my friend Kyle recently decided to pick it up, because it was dirt cheap. I of course paid the full $60 when it came out, I think he got it for around $8. My friend Kyle and I really enjoy playing Co-Op games. We have traveled through Insane mode of Gears of War 1 and 2, and currently working on 3 and Crackdown 2. We also played through Resident Evil 5 on Professional mode and got all of the emblems...we can get pretty hardcore about Co-Op.

Last night, we were inspired to start Resident Evil 6 Co-Op. Since he just started, he had to play through the Prelude before we could actually play Co-Op. However, there was nothing in game that told you this, so we were forced to go online and find out how to play Co-Op. I would go on some sort of rant why this sucks, but I did that last night.

Gameplay wise, Kyle and I had a blast playing this game Co-Op. I think for the first time ever while playing Resident Evil 6, I said, "Huh, this game is actually pretty fun."

This blew my mind because until that point, I hated this game. I hated the fact that I had to hate the game! All it took was some Co-Op play, and I started to have fun again.

This game does have it's flaws, and they are BIG flaws. But the Co-Op is a lot of fun.
