I went to go and pick up the new Slipknot album at Best Buy in Grandville a couple of days ago. I remember when I could go there and sift through thousands of CD's to find something obscure, but these days, that's just not possible.
Thank you TimeHop app for making Throwback Thursday WAY easier! This is really hard to believe that this was 7 years ago. I was touring my Facebook to find out that WGRD Vet Lynae posted a TimeHop pic. I can remember this day like it was yesterday!
For years, the dream has been to either wield a lightsaber from Star Wars and/or jump on a Hoverboard from Back to the Future 2. It's amazing how much research has gone into these things, but it seems that a step towards the future has taken place when it comes to riding a Hoverboard.
Lately I have been playing all sorts of new games. Hyrule Warriors, The Evil Within, Grand Theft Auto 5, etc. These games are fun, but my favorite game to play online was Gears of War 3. I noticed as I was looking through my recently played games, I haven't played Gears 3 for an entire year! Last night for old times sake, I dropped the disc into the tray and played some Horde Mode.
I'll be honest, the first thing I did when I got my first desk job was pick a wallpaper for my computer. That is not a lie! What was it? It was 8-bit Link from the Legend of Zelda holding up the Pink Floyd: Dark Side of the Moon prism. Since then it has changed to the Super Metroid title screen, but what happens when I go to default? It goes to a green hill landscape of Windows XP. However, there are many amazing people out there that have taken that green landscape and changed it for the better.
Survival Horror is one of my favorite video game genres of all time. The anticipation, story, and the looming fear around every corner just attracts me to this genre more than any other game genre out there. My first Survival Horror experience was the original Resident Evil, and after that, I was stuck on getting scared.
Killer Instinct was one of the most successful fighting video games of the 20th Century. I remember the first time I ever played it on my Super Nintendo. It was a lot of fun, but still didn't match up to my love for Mortal Kombat. Regardless of my like for it, fans loved this game and some even remember some of the craziest combos.
You may remember combos, but did you know how it was created?
Last night, I finally got to try the latest entry into the survival horror genre. I have been waiting a good long while for another game like this to arrive to game consoles. Something that wasn't all shooting this and that, but a genuine experience. That is exactly what I got with The Evil Within.
I don't know what it is about JonTron, but he cracks me up every time he releases a video. I have heard of the game named 'Clock Tower' many times in the past, but I never heard of the Super Famicom release ever! Thanks to JonTron through, I now know of the existence of this mediocre game.
Every time the 13th of the month lands on a Friday, people always make some sort of big deal about it. Like there is going to be some sort of bad thing that will happen on Friday the 13th. Where did all of this superstition come from? I don't know, maybe it goes deeper than what I think, but I imagine it's because of these fine horror flicks named...
