Blood, guts, decapitations, death, and heavy metal. This game is the definition of all of that! When this game was first announced, I got pretty excited. It was an old school beat em' up in the 21st century. The game has been critically panned by critics everywhere, but I loved it.
Ben Croshaw, better known as Yahtzee has added a new series to his popular Zero Punctuation web series. Yahtzee is not only talking about the new games on whether they were good or bad, he is now attacking some old school retro games and their history.
Yahtzee tackles the history of E.T. for Atari 2600 and the Game Industry after and how it's changed...or not.
I stumbled upon this video earlier today while looking for interesting things that have Arnold Schwarzenegger in it. You know, cause I have that kind of time right? I eventually found this YouTube gold that replaces Darth Vaders normal voice with quotes from Arnie's movies.
Listening to the Free Beer & Hot Wings Morning Show today, they mentioned their dream car that they would like to own someday. I wanted to jump on air and say what my dream car was, but that would have been awkward. Once you hear about this car, you are going to say, "He just wants it because of Back to the Future." Yes, that was the first time I saw it, but my love for the car has grown over the years. Someday, I will own it.
Normally, I interview bands that are of the Metal genre. Music that will make your ears and eyes bleed of awesome. I decided to step out of my 'comfort zone' and interviewed a musician that is not metal and more rock.
Have you seen the 'awesomeness' that is Conan O' Brian's 'Clueless Gamer?'
Who better to review video games, than a funny late night host who doesn't play video games at all? You'd think that Conan at least has played some classic Atari games like Space Invaders, Combat, etc. right?
Game Boy has turned 25 years old this year! Doesn't it just seem like yesterday that the little system fell into our hands? Anyway, when I was in Elementary school, our class had this little 'Garage Sale.' We basically brought something we didn't want anymore in class and paid CASH for our classmates possessions. Don't really know what we learned here, but there is a reason for this story.
