It took less than three days for Kalamazoo's new statue to be vandalized.

The statue was designed and sculpted by Rockford High alum Brett Grill, a 1997 graduate and 2010 Rockford High Hall of Fame inductee. The final installation of the statue is set to be completed in time for this Friday's game.

Kurt Cobain would have turned 47 a few days ago, and on April 5th it will be twenty years since his suicide.  Nirvana gets inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame on April 10th.  Big year for Nirvana fans, including those in his hometown of Aberdeen, since they got a statue of Kurt that looks like Jesus playing a guitar, and a mural is being worked on, too!
