International World Cup Fans Are Obsessed With This Midwest Novelty
It has been an absolute delight watching the World Cup unfold across Canada, the US, and Mexico, with soccer fans from all around the world traveling to support their teams. North America is not a short trip for most of the participating teams, let alone for the fans paying to watch the matches.
But many international fans are taking full advantage of their trips here and trying American delicacies. Now, does America really have delicacies? I'd say nothing of worth, but that clearly isn't how foreigners visiting here feel after many people's posts of excitement about visiting a Waffle House at 1 am or having a Big Gulp from 7/11.

But one thing that is supremely Midwest that has become a point of fascination to people overseas, and it's quite unexpected, but seems to be a common shock: foreigners are blown away by the ranch.
Swedish Influencer Discovers Ranch
Self-proclaimed traveler Elsa (@elsathora on X) is a Swedish influencer visiting the US for the first time and documenting her journey across the states. Her discoveries have ranged from realizing the Amish are real and attending a baseball game to experiencing Walmart for the first time.
But it's her reaction to ranch "sauce" that has drawn the most attention, with her account being followed by Hidden Valley on Instagram and getting the attention of Wingstop (who has some stellar ranch if you've never had it).

She posted on X saying, "Why did no one tell me ranch sauce is like crack?!" It has led her to turn her trip into a quest to find the best ranch in America.

The most humorous part is when she learned how many different ranch recipes and ways to consume ranch there are. As Michiganders, we know ranch goes on everything. Maybe Elsa can bring some ranch back to Sweden, and the ranch can achieve world domination.
