According to WXYZ-TV, Kevin Reddy, a regular at Hiroki-San, spotted Ed Sheeran and struck up a conversation with him. Reddy suggested they sing Sheeran’s hit “Thinking Out Loud,” and the two ended up performing a duet for a crowd of about six or seven people, just 10 minutes before the bar was set to close.

Reddy said, "I feel like at any point, he could have been like, you know, good to see you, have a good night, but he, I think it was just we built that rapport. I made him laugh, which is like crazy to say and then we had a just a blast."
