UPDATE: Missing, Endangered Children From West Michigan Found Safe
UPDATE: Michigan State Police say that Adonis Ezell and Amir Azell have been found safe.
Police are asking for help finding two missing, endangered children from Wyoming, Mich.
According to Michigan State Police, Adonis and Amir Ezell, ages one and four, were last seen in the 2600 block of Burlingame Ave. SW on foot.
The children were taken by their biological father, Jacobus Ezell, who allegedly suffers from mental illness.
According to the City of Wyoming, at approximately 5:23 a.m. on July 11, 2023, Officers from the Wyoming Department of Public Safety responded to the 2600 block of Burlingame Avenue SW on a report of a domestic dispute.
When they arrived, they learned that after assaulting his former girlfriend, Ezell left with her two children.
Ezell is a 25-year-old black male. He has black hair, brown eyes, is 6 feet tall, and weighs 180 pounds. His hair was described as being styled in “half-afro and half twists.” He was last seen wearing black pants, white shoes, and no shirt.
