Michigan Tree Farm Chosen To Supply The White House’s Christmas Tree
Since the beginning of the year, the news out of the White House can only be described as unpredictable. To say it's been a turbulent time is a bit of an understatement, but we're now reaching the end of summer, and the holidays are right around the corner. Spirit Halloween is already opening locations, and the White House is already thinking about Christmas.

I say this because the Oval Office has already announced where it is getting its tree from, and Korson's Tree Farms in Sidney, Michigan, has been granted the unique honor of supplying the White House's Christmas Tree for 2025.
National Christmas Tree Association
Since 1966, members of the National Christmas Tree Association (NCTA) have presented the official White House Christmas Tree display in the Blue Room. A Christmas tree in the Blue Room has been a White House tradition since 1912, similar to the pardoning of a turkey in November. Last year's tree was a 20-foot-tall Fraser fir from Newland, NC.

Receiving the honor of supplying the tree is no small feat. According to reporting by Bridge Michigan, Korson's Tree Farms in Montcalm County had to win a national contest, a contest they have tried winning 6 times. This year was Korson's time, and they will now be presenting the Trump Administration with an 18-foot blue spruce.
Korson's Tree Farms had this to say on Facebook:
"Last night we were honored to be named the National Grand Champion!! We will be supplying the White House Christmas tree this December! A huge thank you to our team for helping us with this achievement. We cannot thank everyone on the farm enough!"
When the NCTA makes an official announcement, we will update this article accordingly.
