According to MLive, the woman said she was homeless and was standing at a Flint intersection holding a sign about her situation when Duane W. Reynolds approached her.
The woman declined medical treatment, said Reynolds had not assaulted her, and reported no injuries at the time. With no complaint filed and no identified victim, the Genesee County Prosecutor’s Office declined to file charges.

Investigators say the remains belonged to at least four people and had likely been there for at least a decade. A search of the property turned up no additional remains.
Investigators have sent the remains to anthropologists at Michigan State University and the University of North Texas Center for Human Identification to help determine the victims’ identities and how they died.
