Have you ever wanted to travel into space, but thought to yourself "hey, I don't think I can afford that"?  Probably not, but in case you have, you might have the opportunity to fly around the moon for free.

Japanese billionaire Yusaka Maezawa has teamed up with Elon Musk and SpaceX to plan a mission to the moon in 2023.  It's called dearMoon and its crew will consist of 8 civilians from around the world.

You only need to fill out a small form to apply to be a crew member on the dearMoon mission.  It's called a "pre-registration" and it is the first step in becoming a crew member.  After the pre-registration process is complete, Yusaka Maezawa (who goes by MZ online) will begin the selection process.

MZ has announced that he will be giving details of the selection process and the mission on his social media accounts.

And don't worry if you don't get picked, just for pre-registering, you get "a crew candidate certificate", which looks like a ticket and includes your name and country.
