According to WOOD TV8, 40-year-old former Grand Rapids Police Department officer Bryan Casey was already facing felony charges in connection with a May break-in at a West Michigan collectibles store and is now also accused of breaking into another shop in March.

During Casey’s alleged May break-in at Johnny Ford’s Sports Cards and Memorabilia in Grand Rapids, security camera footage reportedly showed a suspect wearing yellow leather gloves and maroon shoes with white soles, along with distinctive body movements captured on video.

A March 25, 2026 break-in at Playmakers Collectibles in Hudsonville reportedly showed Casey wearing a black hooded sweatshirt turned inside out, a black face covering, and a headlamp. Court records further indicate he was also seen in a yellow undershirt, blue pants, yellow leather gloves, and maroon-and-white athletic shoes. Security cameras also captured how he moved about through the store while making off with around $15,000 worth of stolen items.
