Founders Offering Curbside To-Go Beer Pickup

Founders Brewing Co. has begun offering curbside to-go pick up of beer at their Grand Rapids taproom.

In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, Founders closed their GR and Detroit taprooms to the public March 13. They are not offering providing to-go food orders at this time.

The brewery said in a statement:

We’re happy to share that we’ve come up with a temporary solution to provide our community with delicious beer while still keeping our employees and customers safe. We’re now offering curbside beer pickup service at our Grand Rapids taproom.

In a Facebook post, Founders says they've set up strict rules for to-go beer pickup that adheres to the CDC guidelines.

Here's how it works:

All beer orders need to be placed by calling 616.325.2855 to pre-pay. Founders will collect vehicle information and provide you with a pickup time based on the volume of orders. Once you arrive at the brewery an employee will bring out your order and check your ID. Order and pickup window is Monday-Friday 1-7pm. Must be 21+ to purchase and pickup, with valid ID. Purchaser must be the one to pick-up.

Founders is also offering 20% off of to-go beer purchases for all healthcare workers, police, fire, EMS, delivery drivers, grocery store, and other food service workers.
