Judas Priest singer Rob Halford will go from being the Metal God to the Yellow God as he gets a new look courtesy of the hit cartoon show "The Simpsons."

Plenty of musicians have been featured on the long-running show, but rarely do metalheads get a bonus treat when watching the long-running animated series.

The payoff is Sunday, Jan. 5, at 8 p.m. EST on Fox in "The Simpsons" episode titled "Steal This Episode."

In the episode, Homer teaches Bart the ways of illegally downloading movies. The family screens the movies in their back yard for people to watch as Homer once again displays his naivety.

Illegally downloading movies is against the law, which is where Judas Priest come into play. Halford leads the band in a rendition of "Breaking the Law" as the FBI goes after Homer.

Halford and Judas Priest have been all over the place in the last couple years.

The band appeared on Fox's "American Idol" in 2011, performing with contestant James Durbin as he belted out "Living After Midnight" and "Breaking the Law."

Halford also appeared as a guest on Five Finger Death Punch's song "Lift Me Up," off its album "The Wrong Side of Heaven and the Righteous Side of Hell, Volume 1."

Judas Priest plans to release its new studio album in 2014.
