What are the Creepiest Towns Michigan Offers?
Like any other state, Michigan has some great towns, pretty good towns, and according to Reddit, some creepy towns but which are the creepiest?
What Makes a Town Creepy?
There is something spooky about small old towns. The old buildings, graveyards, old churches, and sometimes you run into the creepiest person while stopping for gas can make a city creep you out.
Small towns can creep you out with old abandoned farmhouses, rusty railroad tracks, and dense woods where it's so quiet no one will ever hear you scream if something crazy happens.
I couldn't think of a town that creeped me out but some people on Reddit mentioned plenty.

Creepiest Towns in Michigan
The Reddit account r/Michigan posted about the creepiest town in Michigan, and many Michiganders responded with comments about many different small towns in the state.
Many old mining towns on the Western side of Keweenaw in the Upper Peninsula came up throughout this Reddit thread. I did like Frank2Toe's comment about Owossa being Michigan's Twilight Zone but it's not a bad town, that is where the guy who works on my amplifiers is located.
Many Michigan towns came up I had never heard of like Pere Cheney. I have been to Christmas and agree it's a creepy little town so much so that I thought Rob Zombie should make a horror movie there. I was surprised that Mackinaw City and Mackinac Island came up often.
The original post kicked off with the U.P. town of Seney but this town came up again with a better explanation. A post was made with a bizarre story of logs falling off a logging truck and crushing a woman. A kayak rack came off a vehicle and went through a widow killing another driver. Poster "oldcrownshag" called it the Seney Stretch and talked of an old man shouting at him and his friend for no reason and people looking at them strangely through windows. He went on to say when he told the stories to others in Marquette a person said, "It was Seney, right?" Based on this thread I am sticking with Seney being the creepiest town in Michigan. There are lots more towns mentioned on the Facebook post.
