Blur Frontman Damon Albarn Carried Off Stage After 5 Hour Festival Set
Blur frontman, Damon Albarn, likes to keep things going-- Blur just made a comeback with a new album, his other band Gorillaz is reuniting, he's got a musical debuting next week..
He proved this, literally, when he had to be carried off the stage after refusing to end a 5 hour set at Denmark’s Roskilde Festival this weekend, according to Spin.
Albarn's collective Africa Express took the stage at 11p.m. and wanted to keep rocking all night (morning?).
But around 4a.m. security stepped in, and swooped up Albarn, who gives a gives a parting performance of The Clash's "Should I Stay Or Should I Go".
Check out video above. Albarn gets hoisted up and carried off stage around the 2:20 mark.
