BB-8 Made an Oscar Appearance Without Me [Video]

Everyone's favorite droid made his Oscar debut last night with C3PO and R2D2 to pay tribute to composer John Williams. I was not invited to be his date, and I'm quite bitter about it. My BFF BB-8 didn't even tell me that he was going to be there! What kind of a friend does that?

I understand that BB-8 wanted to hang out with his droid buddies. They all have a bond with John Williams that I don't. And yeah, they made a pretty funny skit together. C3PO kind of looks like an Oscar, with or without that red arm of his (what a diva).

True, the whole appearance was to commemorate John Williams's many successful soundtracks, including Star Wars, Jurassic Park, Jaws, and Indiana Jones, among others. I guess if you're at the Oscars just to support a co-worker, you don't need a date.

But BB-8 still should've called me.
