I'm a sucker for a good themed party. Sure, festivals aren't necessarily a party, but any place with food, music, and good vibes that feels like a celebration is good enough for me. While some festivals make headlines every season, such as Irish on Ionia, Tulip Time, or the Michigan Renaissance Faire, others are niche and lesser-known in more remote areas but deserve to be highlighted.

Some are fun, some are delicious, and some last only a few minutes but are well worth the trip. Like the Mac and Cheese festival, a sucker festival, and one where people come together wearing plaid to take a single photo. Michigan is a diverse state, offering something for everyone.
