In sad news from the weekend, a young woman collapsed and died at the Vans Warped Tour stop in Toronto, Canada on Sunday (July 15).  She was 19 years old.

Alternative Press reports that Taylor Nesseth collapsed while watching the band Chelsea Grin at the Molson Amphitheatre. Witnesses say Nesseth was lying on the grass and multiple attempts at CPR failed to revive her. Calls to 911 were made at around 12:40 p.m., and an ambulance arrived shortly after.

Nesseth was put on life support while being transported to Toronto Western Hospital, where she was pronounced dead. An official cause of death has yet to be revealed, but police suspect that it’s “health related.” Tributes about Nesseth have been all over Twitter in the past 24 hours, while the last post on her Tumblr page showed how excited the young fan was about the long-running punk tour.

The Toronto Warped show had another unrelated problem when thunderstorms postponed the event. Concert organizers told attendees to take shelter under the pavilion roof until the storms safely passed.

The death of Taylor Nesseth makes it the second time in a month that tragedy has struck a rock show in Toronto. A stage collapse accident on June 16 claimed the life of Radiohead’s drum tech Scott Johnson before the scheduled concert.
