Pollstar have released their list of the top 50 worldwide musical tours of 2012 based on ticket sales and Madonna is #1 after generating 296.1 million dollars over 67 shows. Rock music did very well as it claimed 20% of the list. GRD bands appearing in the top 50 include Metallica at #8, Red Hot Chili Peppers at #10, Van Halen at #15, Nickelback at #18, Radiohead at #21, The Black Keys at #27, Scorpions at #38, and Aerosmith at #44.
