On the heels of this week's release of its latest album 'Let the Ocean Take Me,' Australian metal-core heroes The Amity Affliction have announced their first North American headlining tour (dates below).

The trek begins Sept. 19 in San Diego. For the Fallen Dreams, Obey the Brave and Favorite Weapon will be along for the whole tour.

Exotype will play the Sept. 19 through Oct. 5 dates, Crossfaith will jump on for Oct. 7-20 shows and Exotype will return for the remainder of the tour.

"After 6 tours of the United States we are stoked to finally embark on our first ever headline over here,” says vocalist Ahren Stringer. “We’re so stoked, we can't wait!"

'Let the Ocean Take Me' is the Amity Affliction's fourth studio album. Our review of the disc described it as "quite possibly the band’s most honest and personal album to date" and "an equal parts brutal and melodic soundscape."
