Good news is that they are going to continue as they co-headlining the latest Rockstar Energy Mayhem Festival this year. Many fans were wondering if a new album would ever turn out....and there is.
Slipknot and Stone Sour frontman Corey Taylor recently sat down with actor John Cusack in a ‘Rogue on Rogue’ interview. During the in-depth discussion between the two expressive minds, Taylor and Cusack spoke about the parallels found between both music and film inspired by the darker end of existence.
It’s no secret that Slipknot will be touring as a part of this year’s massive Mayhem Festival lineup, which also includes Slayer, Anthrax, Motorhead, the Devil Wears Prada and many others. When we got to talking with Corey Taylor, Sid Wilson and M. Shawn Crahan on the Black Carpet of the Revolver Golden Gods about what fans can expect from the band for this year, they reflected on their late bandmate Paul Gray and talked about honoring his legacy.

March 6, 2012 Soundwave Festival in Australia is one of those shows that I need to go to before I do. Huge headliners this year were System of a Down, Slipknot, Marilyn Manson, Limp Bizkit, Machinehead, Lamb of God, etc! What would make the show even better though, is watching Joey Jordison of Slipknot drum for System of a Down....oh.....wait....what?!?!
February 13, 2012 There has been a feud for years now on whether who was the first group to wear mask on stage, and the contest was between metal groups Slipknot and Mushroomhead Even though both of them were not the first, that honor goes to GWAR. Even that is debatable! Both bands are freakin' awesome, but lead vocalist Corey Taylor of Slipknot is putting all things to rest.

November 23, 2011 Here I sit, at my computer taking a quick eye break from video games, and figuring I would toss in my old Disasterpieces DVD from Slipknot when the album IOWA was released. Slipknot still kicks ass today, but not as much as they used too.

August 29, 2011 Corey Taylor of the metal band Slipknot may have tweeted the new Slipknot U.S Tour, but Shaun Crahen (Clown) of Slipknot has 100% confirmed the new tour! As soon as this new tour was announced, so was the hopes of a New Album.
