After months of speculation, it seems that Slipknot will continue on as a band after this summer. Lead singer Corey Taylor confirmed that the Iowa metal heads plan to tour in the U.S., which means that the band's live dates this summer at the Sonisphere Festival went well internally.
July 26, 2011 After months of rumors about Sliptknot/Stone Sour frontman Corey Taylor becoming the new singer for Velvet Revolver and the denials afterwards, new light has been shed on what exactly went on between the rock stars. A whole Velvet Revolver album was recorded with Taylor on vocals, but one member decided that wasn't the direction the band should take.
Ever since he was a kid, Corey Taylor has wanted to write a book.
The Slipknot and Stone Sour front man finally fulfilled his dream with the recently released hardcover Seven Deadly Sins: Settling the Argument Between Born Bad and Damaged Goods (Da Capo Press).
