Michigan's Adventure

As a child, there were so many cool places to visit in the West Michigan area. We had Deer Park Funland in Muskegon (now Michigan's Adventure), Deer Forest in Coloma (now closed), and a place in Bradley called Plank Road Farm.

Looking for a new gig? Michigan's Adventure in Muskegon is hiring for approximately 800 positions. The amusement park is set to open May 29, 2021. In regard to COVID-19, Michigan's Adventure says they continue to monitor state guidelines and work with industry and government officials to ensure their reopening plan meets all required health and safety regulations...

The park was told to close by a health inspector but officials contested it by saying they operate as an "outdoor swimming pool."

Muskegon Co Health officials are asking the state to help clarify the order to make sure the park is operating, or not, within regulations.

First off, you'll need a reservation to go to the waterpark, plus various safety protocols are now in place that you'll want to know before you go.

Most of the time Michigan's Adventure and Wild Water Adventure are "twice the fun" as the jingle goes, but this summer, you'll only be able to experience half of the fun.

It's sorta good news.

If the deal happens, it would take the two largest amusement park operators in America and make them one giant owner.
