July 29, 2011 Taking Back Sunday have gone through a lot of changes over the years. Members have come and gone, albums have become more ambitious and the remaining roster have matured as time went on. That maturity has not been more evident than in the return of guitarist John Nolan and bassist Shaun Cooper, part of the beloved Tell All Your Friends lineup. Nolan and lead vocalist Adam Lazzara sat down with me before their show at the Orbit Room Thursday night to talk about the evolution of Taking Back Sunday and how going back brought them forward.

July 18, 2011 The third annual Wake Wars competition took over the parking lot of The B.O.B. this past weekend in downtown Grand Rapids. I was out there with the GRD Roadies broadcasting live and we had a blast. Take a look at some of the photos of Day 1 after the jump.
July 15, 2011 I never pass up the opportunity to chat with cute boys, and with Wake Wars getting set up down stairs in the BOB parking lot, I had to go see what was going on! If you haven't heard, we are bringing you Wake Wars 2011, July 16-17, on the parking lot of The B.O.B. in downtown Grand Rapids! We've got professional, advanced and amateur wakeboarders and wakeskaters, the riders will be thrust through a 20’ wide x 40’ long take-off pool via a motorized winch system, just as if they were being pulled by a boat, where they will launch into the air showcasing their best tricks before landing in a 40’ wide x 90’ long splash pool.
June 6, 2011 This past Sunday I found myself with nothing to do... this is very rare for me!
