Remember the movie "National Lampoon's Vacation?"

The movie told the story of the Griswold family driving cross country from Chicago to go to the amusement park Walley World in Los Angeles. With them for the journey was old Aunt Edna. Poor Aunt Edna didn't do so well along the way, though, and passed away before arriving. So the Griswolds forged ahead, simply strapping Edna to the roof for the rest of the journey.

This news story isn't the exact same situation, but it was a good opportunity to make a "National Lampoon's Vacation" reference! This story is much creepier.

Jackie’s Flashback Friday

I have a flashback Friday picture today. I stumbled across this old photo and I started laughing and couldn't stop.

I was at an indoor track meet in 2008 or 2009 and was sitting in my usual, awkward, awful for your legs, weird position.

I was listening to my iPod, probably Breaking Benjamin or Three Days Grace because that is what I normally listened to on race days, getting myself pumped for the 3,000-meter-run.
