It’s been 16 years since the last time Soundgarden have released brand new music. That all changed this week when the grunge vets released their new single, ‘Live to Rise,’ which will be featured on ‘Avengers Assemble,’ the official soundtrack to this summer’s blockbuster ‘Marvel’s the Avengers.’
Grunge icons Soundgarden have been working on their comeback album ever since they reunited in 2010. While the band could have easily rested on their laurels and released another Superunknown or Down on the Upside, they insist that the new record won't be a trip down memory lane.
