Shinedown, Three Days Grace to Co-Headline 2013 Tour
Two of rock’s top acts are joining forces for a string of tour dates this February. Shinedown and Three Days Grace have announced plans to hit the road together, and West Michigan is included on one of the dates!
The trek kicks off February 1 at the iWireless Center in Moline, Ill. Most of the co-headlining tour will travel around the South and Midwest. Shinedown and Three Days Grace will make their return to West Michigan on February 13 at the Kellogg Arena in Battle Creek. Tickets go on sale to the general public on Friday, November 16, at 10AM, at the venue box office, all Ticketmaster outlets, Ticketmaster.com or by phone at 1-800-745-3000.
Both bands are still promoting their most recent albums to come out this year. Shinedown dropped their fourth studio album, Amaryllis, back in March. Frontman Brent Smith told us in April that Amaryllis is the most important record Shinedown have made so far.
Three Days Grace released their fourth disc as well, entitled Transit of Venus, on October 2. The Canadian rockers took a step out of their comfort zone with the new album as evident in lead single “Chalk Outline.” Transit of Venus was produced by Don Gilmore and recorded at Revolution Studios in Toronto, Canada.
